In the high temples of the Sun-Goddess, woven baskets were used to carry the first fruits of spring. This "Faux-Basket" is a masterwork of concrete casting, designed to look like delicate wicker while remaining as heavy as a mountain. The two doves perched on the rim are said to be the "Tethered Souls" of two lovers who wished to spend eternity in a garden. As long as flowers bloom inside the basket, the doves will remain, ensuring that no harsh winds or storms ever disturb the surrounding courtyard.
